Our Computer Modeling lab has two Linux workstations with dual xeon six core X5650 processors with 12MB caches, 24GB DDR3-1333 random access memory and PNY nVidia Quadro 2000 1GB GDDR5 video cards. These Linux workstations are accompanied by two PCs with I7 Quad core processors and matching PNY video cards. The computer modeling software packages used in this laboratory include Accelrys/Discovery Studio 3.0, the entire suites of Schrodinger, Tripos/Sybylx1.2, and many other programs such as Autodock, Dock 3.5.54.
