Welcome to the Molecular AI Team at Moffitt Machine Learning Department!

We use tools from various fields led by machine learning to enhance our understanding of cancer development, phenotypic progression, and variability in the response to treatment. Particularly, we are interested in how epigenetics, DNA structure, histone modifications, protein interactomes, and mutagenesis can inform and support diagnosis, clinical decisions.

 Important research direction we are undertaking is AI for pharmacophore modeling and optimization of interactions in drug discovery.
