At The Green Lab, we are driven by a singular mission: to eliminate cancer disparities and promote health equity through innovative research, education, and community engagement. Led by Dr. Lee Green, our lab operates at the intersection of behavioral science, population health, and cancer prevention, with a commitment to addressing the social determinants of health that disproportionately impact underserved communities.
Our work spans multiple disciplines—including epidemiology, health outcomes, and artificial intelligence to create data-informed solutions that improve lives. We collaborate with behavioral scientist, clinicians, data scientists, community partners, and policy leaders to ensure that our research is not only rigorous but also relevant and responsive to real-world needs.
We are especially passionate about mentoring the next generation of scientists and empowering communities through knowledge and advocacy. Whether we’re modeling cancer risk using machine learning, exploring the lived experiences of Black men facing prostate cancer, or building new tools to support patient-centered care, our goal is to push the boundaries of what's possible in health equity science.
