I started working for Dr. Schonbrunn in February of 2009 as a research assistant and now I have been granted the pleasure of working on a project as part of my undergraduate thesis at USF. My target is to produce glucometabolic enzymes (LDHA, LHDC, GAPDH, GAPDS, as well as RXR) at a large-scale, obtain information on biochemical and structural characteristics of the enzymes and screen for inhibitors.
