Matthew Froid is a 1st year PhD student doing his in David Basanta's lab in IMO. Matthew presented at the Machine Learning Department's EMERGE (rEsearch in progress MachinE leaRninG mEeting). Mathew presented on how he can extend his work in AML with Russell Rockne and David Basanta to drug-drug interactions and protein networks studied during rotations in my lab. Good job Matthew!

We were honored to have two of our secondary faculty present at this meeting of EMERGE (rEsearch in progress MachinE leaRninG mEeting) in the Machine Learning Department.

Dr. Les Folio presented on the topic of: The latest and greatest ML enterprise imaging research (make annotations great again) and Dr. Marilyn Bui spoke to us about the importance of pathology and its 3rd revolution thanks to AI.
